Stage Collapse Causes Multiple Injuries in Pike County

The Pike County Sheriff has reported that on Saturday night, October 10th, his office received a call at 10pm reporting a stage had collapsed at Dogwood Pass, located at 722 Adams Road in Beaver.

Dogwood Pass in Pike County was hosting an adult only haunted event Saturday night.

It was reported there were two people with broken legs, one of the people suffered a head injury and the other was having seizures possibly due to a head injury.

Both USEC and Beaver Fire Departments responded to the scene along with Pike County EMS Squads 3, 4 and 7. Portsmouth Ambulance and Med Care Ambulance responded to the scene as well. 

Both MedFlight and AIREVAC were called but were unable to fly due to conditions.

Dogwood Pass has been closed until a safety audit investigation can be completed.
