D.A.R. Chapter Sets Goal of 500 Wreaths This Year on Ross Military Graves

The Nathaniel Massie Chapter of The Daughters of the American Revolution continues an almost three decades old tradition that lays wreaths at the graves of military veterans, in Ross County.

This practice started in New England 27 years ago, and now sees over 1,300 participating locations in the U.S. and overseas, laying over 1.6 million wreaths at veteran grave sites.

If you would like the DAR lay a wreath for you in Ross County, the wreath costs $15 and must be ordered by November 23rd. Even people living outside of Ross County can order a wreath, where you can lay it on the family of a military grave. Call (740) 772-5878 or (740) 253-1067.
