Names Released in Jackson County Friday Shootings

Names have been released in three Friday shootings, including one fatality, in the Oak Hill area of Jackson County.

In a news release on the Facebook page of Jackson County Sheriff Tedd Frazier, along with Oak Hill Police Chief David P. Ward, baoth announced that from the village of Oak Hill, 51-year-old Paul E. Sheets was in stable condition at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington in West Virginia, and 48-year-old Tabatha Sheets was in critical condition at Grant Medical Center in Columbus.

While that scene was being investigated, another call came in of a shooting just after 7 a.m. in Hamilton Township where the body of 61-year-old David Yeley was discovered.

58-year-old Lonnie L. Sheets and 57yo Lisa L. Sheets of Wheelersburg have been charged with the shooting of Paul Sheets. Additional charges are pending.
