High Speed Chase Leads To Arrest of Chillicothe Man

A Chillicothe man has been arrested after leading Ross County Sheriff deputies in a vehicle a pursuit early Tuesday.

Deputy Champion was dispatched to the Corner Market located at 633 Charleston Pike in reference to a suspicious vehicle. Upon arrival, Deputy Champion made contact with the vehicle and the driver drove away on Blacksmith Hill Road, away from Charleston Pike.

Deputy Champion pursued the vehicle and observed at least two traffic violations. Deputies discontinued the pursuit then went to the vehicle's registered address and made contact with a female, who stated that the suspect was her son, Jermey Ault.

Chillicothe Police units were able to locate the suspect at the Speedway located at 1136 East Main Street where the suspect was then arrested and transported to the Ross County Jail.
