The Chillicothe Parks and Recreation Department will sponsor its annual City Holiday Lights competition this year. Prizes will be awarded to the winners of the two offered categories: The Clark Griswold and Norman Rockwell. The Clark Griswold is for displays that utilize an excessive use of outdoor light and decorations. The Norman Rockwell is for more traditional and nostalgic displays. Entries are due by 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 1st. Officials say entries should be e-mailed with the title “Decorating Contest” and include names, address, phone number, and category to lights@chillicotheoh.gov. Entries will be judged on Wednesday, December 2nd, at 6:30 p.m.
