Huntington School District Placed On Remote Learning Through December 1st

The Huntington Middle and Elementary Schools have switched to Remote Learning. The District announced the change on Monday, with the Plan B model taking effect November 17th.

Huntington High School announced their plan to go on this plan, last week.

Huntington District Superintendent Pete Ruby reported four positive cases among staff members, with two positive student cases. Contact tracing has led to several students and staff members being placed in quarantine. Test results for other staff members are pending, but those staff members too have been requested to quarantine pending the outcome of those tests.

The Huntington Middle and Elementary Schools will remain on Plan B Remote Learning until Monday, November 30th.

In-person classes are to resume on Tuesday, December 1st.

In Pickaway County, effective Tuesday, November 17th, Circleville City Schools will be unable to provide district transportation as their schools have fallen below minimum staffing levels required to operate routes due to contact tracing.
