Fewer Highway Deaths in This Year's Thanksgiving Holiday Period

The Ohio State Highway Patrol is reporting nine deaths on Ohio's roadways over the Thanksgiving holiday period, from last Wednesday to Sunday night. The patrol reports nine crashes with nine deaths, a decrease over last year which saw 15 crashes with 18 deaths.

Two of those fatalities included pedestrian/vehicle accidents, including one in licking county that claimed the life of a Circleville man on Sunday night.

In our broadcast area, fatal crashes were also reported in Adams and Greene counties.
