COVID Appears in Ross Jail Prisoners Transferred To State Prisons

The transferring of prisoners from the Ross County Jail into the state prison system has been suspended due to several inmates testing positive for COVID-19.

Prisoners are supposed to complete a 14-day quarantine immediately prior to transfer.

Any inmate who has tested positive or identified as a close contact must be placed in isolation for no less than 14 days.
