OSU Alumni Club of Ross County Has Scholarship Applications Available

The Ohio State University Alumni Club of Ross County announces scholarship applications are now available for Ross County students planning on entering or returning to the Ohio State University in the fall of 2021.

The application process is entirely online for both high school seniors and current students at Ohio State.

The Alumni Scholars Program is open to students graduating from Ross County high schools who will be freshmen in the fall of 2021 and for Ross County students who will be returning to Ohio State next fall as sophomores, juniors, and seniors.

Students can find information and the online application at the alumni club’s website: rosscounty.alumni.osu.edu/scholarship/. All applications are due February 1, 2021.

Applicants will have preferably been admitted to the Ohio State University and have a record of participation in school, community, extracurricular activities, and academic merit. Applications will be evaluated for quality of answers to several essay questions and the application process may include a telephone interview with the local scholarship committee.

The Ohio State University Alumni Club of Ross County funds two Alumni Scholars Program scholarships for Ross County students attending the Ohio State University, the Betty & Robert Jones Scholarship Fund for incoming freshmen and the Upperclassman Merit Scholarship.

Sustaining members of the OSU Alumni Association can maintain football ticket eligibility by donating to the Betty & Robert Jones Scholarship Fund which is fund number 606194.
