Adena Health System reports that new structures outside Adena Urgent Care Western Avenue and Adena Wellness Center West, both in Chillicothe, will keep curbside testing going for the winter months.
Known as ootBoxes, the structures resemble a small portable office measuring only about 8 by 10 feet.
They should help with patient flow at Urgent Care, which has regularly experienced daily counts far higher than prior to the pandemic. When they started curbside blood draws earlier this year, cars were lined up all the way down the street. Now they can move quickly, having two phlebotomist inside the ootBox.
