Chillicothe Police Investigate Shooting, Home Invasion on Cheyenne Drive

Police in Chillicothe are investigating a non-fatal shooting and reported home invasion from early Sunday morning.

According to a police report on the incident, the victim, Julian Stokien, 22, suffered a gunshot wound to his left shoulder. At the hospital, Mr. Stokien told investigators he had been at the home, located at #3 Cheyenne Drive, when he heard something at the front door sometime before 4:30 a.m. Mr. Stokien then opened the door to check things out when two unknown males then pushed their way inside. He tried to fight them off but one of the suspects brandished a gun and fired a round which struck Mr. Stokien in the shoulder.

Mr. Stokien said the men then requested his gun safe key. The men then got into his gun safe and took three guns, two AK-47s, and an AR-15, before fleeing the home.

Both suspects were described as white males wearing white shirts, blue jeans, and black face masks. No arrests have been made at this time.
