The Ross County Health District is extending the timeline on their recommended mitigation strategies to help reduce the spread of COVID-19.
The extension goes through February 1st.
The six strategies include schools suspending all extra curricular activities, although most schools in the county have not concurred with that, except Chillicothe Schools as they shut down in December. There’s no indication they will return to that after restarting winter sports season this week.
Businesses and government offices are urged to work from home and houses of worship encouraged to meet virtually or through drive-in accommodation.
