A fatal shooting is being investigated by the Ross County Sheriff.
The daily sheriff report shows deputies responded to a residence at 1142 Rozelle Creek Road in reference to the shooting at 1:17am Wednesday.
The victim is listed as 40-year-old Joseph A. Sprouse, but no indication of anyone charged at this time or motive in the fatal shooting.
Sheriff George Lavender says there is no other information at this time as the investigation continues.
