Unioto's boys basketball record for most wins by a varsity head coach now belongs to Matt Hoops as he picked up number 207 in a 62-38 win at Southeastern Friday night, surpassing Ron Lovely.
The Shermans led at every stop to stay unbeaten in the SVC at (6-0). Those leads were 17-8 after one quarter, 30-21 at half, 49-28 after three and the final of 62-38.
Unioto pulled away to start the third period, going on an 11-0 run.
Isaac Little led all players with 21 points, followed by Cameron Debord's 18.
Southeastern's Cameron Hall led the Panthers with 9 points, followed by Connor Smith with 7 and Ashton Allman added 6 points with 6 rebounds.
The Shermans shot 27/52 for 52% while the Panthers managed on 38% at 14/37 from the field.
Both teams had 23 rebounds, with Southeastern committing 13 turnovers and Unioto 6.
Unioto improves to (6-0/10-2) and Southeastern falls to (1-3/2-4).
