ODA to Host Virtual Gypsy Moth Treatment Open House

The Ohio Department of Agriculture will be hosting a virtual public informational meeting regarding upcoming gypsy moth treatments.

The virtual meeting will take place on Monday, February 8th at 6:00 p.m. and will include information for Vinton and Hocking counties. General and region-specific information will be discussed at the meeting.

Gypsy moth caterpillars are known to feed on leaves, weakening trees and shrubs and potentially killing them. The Gypsy moth treatments are not harmful to humans, animals, honey bees, or plants.
