Pike County Sheriff Tracy Evans is looking for a wounded fugitive.
He reports a homeowner on Clines Road confronted a man trying to steal a catalytic converter from his vehicle Tuesday. The man stuck him in the face with a Sawzall and they began fighting, ending with the owner shooting the man in the groin area.
He left in a silver four-door Chevy truck with front-end damage. The man has been identified as 28-year-old Jonathan Thompson of Fairview Road in the Peebles area.
