The body of a Columbus man has been recovered after he disappeared while kayaking on Paint Creek in Ross County.
The body of Mark Stephens, 46, of Columbus, was found on Thursday.
Stephens had last been seen on Sunday, March 21st near the shoreline of Paint Creek, in the area of Rapid Forge Road and Falls Road near Bainbridge.
Stephens was reported to have gone under the water at about 6:00 p.m. Sunday, but never resurfaced. It took search crews five days to located his body.
