The Highland County-based organization, SATH, or Supplementary Assistance to the Handicapped, will be holding its 22nd Annual Charity Auction on May 15th. The event will begin at 10:00 a.m. at the Highland County Fairgrounds in Hillsboro.
HESS Auction Co., LLC will be assisting SATH with the Auction, and all proceeds will be used for children with special needs in Adams, Brown, Clinton, Fayette, Highland and surrounding Counties.
SATH has struggled to raise funds and hold fundraisers since the COVID pandemic and is in need of donations to help with this fund-raiser. SATH Director Linda Allen says any items that residents would like to contribute to this worthwhile cause would be greatly appreciated.
Linda Allen can be reached at (937) 366-6657 to make arrangements to pick up donations. They can also be dropped off at the Highland County Fairgrounds on May 13th and May 14th from 9 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Donations can also be dropped off on the day of the auction.
