A Sunday afternoon multi-vehicle accident in Union Township remains under investigation by the Ohio State Highway Patrol. Shortly before 2:00 PM yesterday, a Chevy Equinox driven by Victoria Anderson of Columbus went left of center on State Route 550, and struck a Nissan Rogue driven by Joseph Jinks of Chillicothe. The impact of that crash forced Jink's vehicle into the path of a Ford F-150 pick up truck driven by Nicholas Barrows, also of Chillicothe. Jinks and Anderson were transported to the Adena Regional Medical Center, Anderson then was transported to Grant Medical Center in Columbus by MedFlight. The crash had Pleasant Valley Road shut down for a time being Sunday afternoon.
