Amusement parks relax protocols

Both of the state's major theme parks have relaxed some of their COVID-19 protocols. Both Kings Island in Mason, and Cedar Point in Sandusky, say park patrons will not have to wear masks when outdoors or on outdoor rides. You will however be asked to don a mask when going on either of the parks indoor rides. Social distancing guidelines will remain in effect at both parks. Last year masks were required to be worn at all times at both. Kings Island opens to the general public on May 15th, Cedar Point opens the day on May 14th.
