COLLEGE BASKETBALL

Ohio University guard Jason Preston has made himself eligible for the 2021 NBA Draft. The MAC Tournament MVP will retain his college eligibility by not signing with an agent. Preston was first-team Mid-American Conference choice this year and led the Bobcats to the NCAA Tournament second round.

HIGH SCHOOL COACHING CHANGES

Rod Bentley has announced his resignation as head girls basketball coach at Vinton County High School. Bentley was this past season's Division-2 "Coach of the Year", after guiding the Lady Vikings to the runner-up spot in the state tournament.

Huntington High School has named Kyle Bradley as it's new boys varsity basketball coach, while Kyle Uhrig takes over as the girls varsity hoops coach.
