Wagner gets more court time

Attorneys representing one of the Wagner family members accused in the murders of eight members of the Rhoden family in Pike County in 2016 are asking for extra time in the case. Lawyers for George Wagner IV appeared with Wagner yesterday in a Waverly courtroom, asking the judge for an extra 30 days in order to analyze recent events in case. Last Wednesday Edward "Jake" Wagner pled guilty to 23 charges of murder in exchange for removing the death penalty specification of the sentencing process. George Wagner is charged with eight counts of murder for his alleged role in the killings. The court set June 21st as the next hearing date for George Wagner IV.
