A two-vehicle crash late Saturday evening on U.S. 50 in Scioto Township remains under investigation by the Chillicothe Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol. Just after 10:00 Saturday night, car driven by 33-year-old Lewis Sams of Chillicothe was struck head-on by a vehicle driven by 20-year-old Trent Hendershot of Chillicothe. The Hendershot vehicle failed to negotiate a curve near milepost 21, and crossed the centerline and struck Sams car. Both individuals were transported to the Adena Regional Medical Center and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
