A three-year-old boy was treated for non-life-threatening injuries after being struck by a vehicle on N. Second Street in Frankfort, Tuesday.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the toddler walked into the roadway at around 2 p.m. and was struck by an oncoming Jeep driven by Patti Swift, 81, of Washington Court House.
Authorities said the child was first taken to Adena Regional Medical Center but later flown to Children's Hospital; Swift refused treatment at the scene.
