A missing Fayette County man who is a registered sex offender is once again in custody. 33-year-old Carl Penwell is back in the Fayette County Jail. He was discovered missing after an address verification by authorities at his listed Bogus Road residence. Deputies took Penwell into custody at a Bloomingburg home. He is a registered Tier II sex offender and is required to register with law enforcement every 180 days for a period of 25 years.
