Lifeguards needed

One of the big parts of summer fun, heading out to the pool, is becoming an issue in Jeffersonville. The Washington Court House Record-Herald reports that the pool is having a difficult time finding lifeguards to work at the Jeffersonville pool. Village officials say between 8-and-10 certified lifeguards are need to operate the pool. Guards that were hired in March were unable to complete the certification process, so the village has to start the hiring process over again. The pay is $10-per-hour and lifeguards at the pool work 35-to-40 hours per week. The pool season will start as soon as there are enough lifeguards hired.
