Bond was set Thursday at $250 thousand dollars for a former Teays Valley Middle School teachers aide accused of an inappropriate relationship with a student. 33-year-old Mandy Davis was arrested by Pickaway County Sheriffs Deputies after reports from a concerned school employee about what was termed "an odd relationship" between Davis and a student. Pickaway County authorities searched Davis' South Bloomfield residence where they secured additional evidence. Davis has been charged with first-degree felony rape, third-degree felony gross sexual imposition and fourth-degree felony unlawful sexual contact with a minor. Davis has since been fired from her position with the school.
