Two Flown to Columbus Hospital Following Bourneville Motorcycle Crash

Two people were taken to taken to a Columbus hospital Friday as the result of motorcycle crash in Ross County.

According to the Chillicothe Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the crash took place around 8:30 a.m. Friday when a 1998 Harley Davidson, operated by Roy Rinehart, 56, of South Salem, was eastbound on North Alley in the Village of Bourneville.

Upon approaching the intersection of Cropp Street, the bike overturned in the roadway causing Mr. Rinehart, and his passenger, Tonya Stewart, 42, of Londonderry, to be thrown off.

The two were transported by Twin Township EMS to a landing zone for MedFlight. They were then flown to Ohio State University Medical Center.
