As the rain moves out and the warmer temperatures start to roll back in, the City of Chillicothe's pool will open up today. Hours at the Donald M. Smith Memorial pool are 12-noon to 7:00 p.m. Monday throught Friday, and 1:00 to 7:00 on Sunday's. Officials say all facets of the outdoor pool are expected to be operating at full capacity, those include both the low and high diving boards, the pool slide, both kiddie pools, and the ADA lift. The pool has a $5.00 per person admission fee, with children two and under admitted free. Season passes can be purchased at the city administration building at 35 South Paint Street.
