Two firefighters are recovering from minor injuries after battling a house fire on Monday afternoon in Circleville. According to reports, crews responded to a call yesterday on Union Street at the home of a family of four. Officials say the family was not home at the time of the fire, and one firefighter was taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation, and another was treated at the scene after overheating. Fire Chief Brian Thompson said the home is a total loss, and the state fire marshal is helping with the investigation into the cause of the fire.
