Ross County Sheriffs Deputies responded early Monday to a Hill Drive residence on a suspected arson complaint. Witnesses there told deputies that the ex-boyfiend of one those who had called for help had thrown a bottle containing some sort of liquid into the home, igniting the furniture inside into flames. The suspect fled the area on foot and remains at large. There are no reports of any injuries, and the Fire Marshall's office is investigating. Another fire on Piney Creek Road Monday was thought to be caused by an electrical issue. That blaze started in the attic of the structure, Harrison Township crews dealt with that fire.......again, no reports of any injuries.
