Anti Hazing Bill to Governor

An anti-hazing bill is headed the Governor's desk after the Ohio House voted to approve it yesterday. Senate Bill 126, known as Collin's Law, is named after Dublin native Collin Wiant, who died in 2018 during a hazing incident at the Sigma Pi fraternity at Ohio University. If signed into law, the measure would create harsher penalties for hazing, including felony charges when drugs or alcohol are involved. The Bill also honors Stone Foltz of Delaware County, who died in a hazing incident earlier this year at Bowling Green State.
