Much of the area has received heavy rain since late Wednesday evening and through the morning hours. The heavy rain has caused ponding and high water on roadways, keep that in mind as you travel today. There have also been reports in the area of trees and wires down as a result of the storms that have moved through. There is a FLASH FLOOD WATCH in effect for Ross, Fayette, Highland, Hocking, Pike, and Scioto Counties, until 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening.
