Increased OSP Presence

The Ohio State Highway Patrol says they will be out in force this holiday weekend to help keep drivers safe. The Patrol said yesterday that Troopers would be stepping up traffic enforcement until Monday night in the hopes of taking impaired drivers off the roadways. According to the Patrol, during the 2020 Fourth of July holiday weekend, troopers made 432 OVI arrests, and there were 24 fatal crashes in Ohio with 25 fatalities.
