One person is dead as the result of a two vehicle crash in Jackson County. According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred shortly before 11:15 a.m. Wednesday, July 21st along TR-327 northbound as southbound 2005 Pontiac G6 failed to yield half the roadway, and collided with a Ford F-250.
The driver of the Pontiac was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the Ford sustained no serious injuries.
The Patrol has not identified the deceased at this time as the investigation is ongoing.
