The City of Chillicothe will be the focus of a WOUB-produced documentary, set to be screened at the Majestic Theatre at the end of September.
The film, Our Town: Chillicothe, examines many of the unique aspects of the State’s First Capital, including its local newspaper, the local paper manufacturing industry, and the influence of World War I in spurring the City’s growth. It’ll also cover some of the City’s distinguished former residents such as Lucy Webb Hayes and more.
Our Town: Chillicothe is eighth segment to be filmed for WOUB’s Our Town Series. Other installments have covered the cities of Athens, Jackson, Nelsonville, Pomeroy, Gallipolis and Morgan County.
The Majestic’s screening of Our Town: Chillicothe will take place at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 26th.
