A man accused of killing a nine-year-old girl and injuring her mother with his car last month is pleading not guilty. Court records released yesterday show 67-year-old Kim P. Horton of Lithopolis entered the not guilty plea to multiple charges, including vehicular homicide and OVI in the death of Ruth E. Jones. Police say on July 22nd, Horton's car missed a curve and smashed into a front yard produce stand where Jones and her mother, 38-year-old Elizabeth Jones, were working. Elizabeth Jones remains hospitalized in critical condition.
