The Chillicothe City Pool will be shutting down early this year. Clint Boggs with Parks and Rec say it’s due to staffing issues.
The last day of public operation for the pool this year will be Sunday, August 15th. The pool will be open from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
The morning lap swim for adult members is unaffected by the closure, will continue through Friday, August 20th. Previously scheduled pool parties, from August 16th through August 22nd, will also remain unaffected.
Public hours for the rest of the season are:
- Thursday, August 12th: 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- Friday, August 13th: 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- Saturday, August 14th: 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- Sunday, August 15th: 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
