Columbus woman in custody

A woman from Columbus has been arrested for allegedly carrying a large rifle and drugs near Vinton County High School late last week. 30-year-old Cheyenne Hansley was taken into custody and was taken to the Southeast Ohio Regional Jail. Vinton County Sheriffs Deputies were called to the Calvary Assembly Church of God, across the street from the high school, last Friday and confronted Hansley. There they confiscated a rifle, rifle magazines, a tripod mount, and a bolt action for the rifle. No ammunition was found. Deputies also found Hansley in possession of narcotics. Vinton County Schools were placed on lockdown as a precaution while the incident was investigated. Hansley is charged with having weapons under disability, carrying concealed weapons, possession of drugs, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
