A Zaleski, Ohio, man is dead after a single vehicle crash Tuesday evening in Vinton County. 62-year-old Samuel Hately was traveling eastbound on US-50 around 7:15 last night when his 2003 Cadillac CTS traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck a ditch and overturned. Hatley was extricated by mechanical means and transported to Holzer Medical Center by Vinton County Emergency Medical Services. Hatley was then transported to Grant Medical Center by Med-Flight, where he succumbed to his injuries. This crash remains under investigation.
