Another solar power project was introduced to the Ross County Commissioners in their Monday meeting.
Bill Behling of Innergex Renewable Energy, based in Montreal, briefed the commissioners on their plans for a solar array that may cover 500 acres, mostly on the northeast corner of State Route 207 and Westfall Road.
Behling said the "Oak" solar farm will be only a quarter to a third the size of Yelowbud Solar, under construction nearby by a different company. Both will tie into the same power line.
He said construction may start in the fourth quarter of next year, with completion at the end of 2024.

Innergex is currently developing the "Palomino" solar farm in Highland County. They completed the "Hillcrest" array in Brown County four months ago (see a drone video of the site in the webpage).
