The Ohio State Highway Patrol says they will be out in force this holiday weekend to help keep drivers safe.
Officials at the OSHP said yesterday that Troopers would be stepping up traffic enforcement throughout the holiday in the hopes of cutting down dangerous speeds on the state's freeways.
According to the Patrol, during last year's Christmas Holiday, there were nine fatal crashes in Ohio, and they are looking to do what they can to get that number down to zero.
Troopers say they will be visible to drivers who are encouraged to slow down, buckle their seat belts, and put their phones down.
