Flood warnings for our area have ended Friday afternoon, but still watch for high water or ice on roadways. Several roads in Pickaway County were announced as cleared through this morning....with others, not yet.
State Route 104 in Ross County was closed just north of the Deer Creek Bridge because of water flowing over the highway, forcing detours of several miles.
Local law enforcement reported last night that emergency crews were dispatched to several sites throughout the county for motorists stranded in high water in their vehicles. They urged drivers that if you come upon water in the roadway, do not attempt to drive through it.
Use caution: "DONT DROWN, TURN AROUND!"
