ODNR Points Out Spring Burning Restrictions

If you plan to burn waste this spring, the Ohio Department of Natural Resources advises you to read about the state's outdoor burning restrictions and take precautions.

During March, April and May, most outdoor debris burning is restricted in unincorporated areas from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Officials say spring is a bad time to burn because of the amount of dry grass, weeds and leaves. Winds can intensify and spread a seemingly safe fire.
