Portsmouth firefighter remembered

Some flags at public buildings in Ohio are at half-staff today in honor of fallen Portsmouth firefighter and EMT Edward Long. The first-responder was killed in the line of duty on Tuesday. Governor DeWine ordered that flags be lowered at all public buildings in Scioto County and at the Ohio Statehouse, Verne Riffe Center, and the Rhodes State Office Tower. Flags will remain at half-staff until sunset on the day Long is laid to rest.
