Developmental Disabilities Grants for Coppel Complex and Camp Cattail

More than $25,000 in grant assistance has been awarded to two Ross County area entities to aid those with Developmental Disabilities.

The Foundation for Appalachian Ohio and the Ross County Board of Developmental Disabilities have announced that the grants will go toward projects at the Ross County Park District and Camp Cattail.

The Ross County Park District’s share of the grant funding will be used for American Disabilities Act parking and sidewalks at the Coppel Athletic Complex.

Camp Cattail’s funding share will be used for an improvement project for the camp’s dock renovation and landscaping around the camp’s pond. That project seeks to increase accessibility for those in wheelchairs.
