OHSAA considering N-I-L

The Ohio High School Athletic Association is deciding on rule changes to allow athletes to profit from their name, likeness, and image. The proposed Issue 12 B would implement changes similar to a recent move by the NCAA. The regulation would allow high school student-athletes to accept money and other considerations in endorsement deals excluding team and school logos. The issue will be discussed with school leaders at an upcoming athletic discussion meetings across the state starting April 20th.
