Chillicothe taxpayers will have a few extra hours to file their income tax returns before the April 18th filing deadline. Chillicothe City Auditor Kristal Spetnagel announced today (Friday) that the office will remain open from 7:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Monday, April 18th. The City Administration Building will be closed Friday, April 15th in observation of Good Friday. Regular business hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Anyone with questions regarding their filing obligation is encouraged to call the office at (740)773-1161, or stop by the office located at 35 South Paint Street.
