Guidance on Coronavirus Booster Shots Still Delayed

Americans will have to wait a little bit longer when it comes to guidance on Coronavirus booster shots. Officials say the FDA meeting on COVID vaccines ended with no real plan.

Part of the problem is the group is unclear what future vaccines could look like.

For now, people considered immunocompromised or over the age of 50 qualify for a second booster shot, but the committee said it plans to continue its conversation in the next few months.
