Ohio Congressman Brad Wenstrup spoke at the annual Lincoln Day Dinner Tuesday night.
Wenstrup spoke for about half an hour in the sold-out event. He listed challenges to the U.S. and offered solutions, including from his military and medical perspectives. Hear his summary of his talk below.
Wenstrup mentioned his legislative effort to contrast the claims of insurrection in the January 6th, 2021 attack on the US capitol...versus the 2017 shooting of Republicans at a baseball practice, where he was present and helped save the life of Steve Scalise.
Wenstrup will be up for re-election to the 2nd Ohio district, which covers the south part of Ross County and all of Pike, Fayette, and Highland, to Cincinnati.
Former Ross County Republican Party Chair Diane Carnes was recognized for her service, as were several others.
And, Bishop Flaget 6th grader Allison Ward briefly interpreted Alexander Hamilton.
